Caltas is recognised as being one of the largest and most professional Caltex distributors throughout Australia.  It is an independent fuel distributor, and supplies a range of products including refined fuels, lubricants and dispensing equipment.

  
Caltas directly and indirectly employs 80 personnel, and distributes Caltex petroleum to 81 service stations and 20 self-service outlets, Caltas has a wide range of clients including logging, fishing and mining industries, transport companies, farmers and a wide variety of businesses throughout Northern Tasmania.
  
Caltas operates a fuel management system which enables customers to access fuel 24 hours a day, in regional and remote locations.  Invoice reports are available to customers to analyse fleet fuel costs.
